Why one team
- When sauna and pool share a building, humidity and heat loads interact. Designing the mechanical side once helps address moisture and ventilation risks during design.
Before choosing a sauna
- Share the intended use: a private home, shared residential area or hotel. Capacity, frequency of use and access affect the layout and equipment selection.
- Send room dimensions and photographs of the space. Heater clearances, ventilation routes and electrical provision need to be checked against the selected equipment.
What determines the quotation?
- Cabin size, timber and glazing, heater and control system, existing services and site access all affect the scope. Ask which preparation, installation and commissioning work is included.
- A sauna and a steam room have different operating conditions. Choose the system before planning the finishes; agree cleaning, maintenance and user instructions at handover.
Questions
Does a sauna fit in a villa basement?
Suitability depends on cabin dimensions, heater clearances, ceiling height, ventilation and electrical provision. The same minimum dimensions cannot be assumed for every basement.
